This manual describes Xerox's implementation of the APL language - hereafter referred to as Xerox APL, or simply as APL. t It defines the language and the general operations of the processor under control of Xerox 560 and Sigma 6/7/9 Control Program-V (CP-V). This manual is intended primarily for use as a reference document by experienced APL programmers. Beginning APL users may find it useful to consult some good APL primers to augment this manual.
